Having been trained as a Home Inspector in Madison, SD at the Professional Home Inspection Institute (PHII), Terry and Kate have strong midwest values and understands the types of building construction commonly used in the great plains region. As well as having been a licensed Realtor in SD for 13 years gives Terry Hipple of Rushmore Inspection Services a unique perspective on what you are going through when you are trying to decide who to hire for your home inspection and what pressures you may face as the Buyer, Seller or the Realtor involved. 

Also trained as a Radon Inspector from the PHII and using the latest radon detectors from Sun Nuclear to help you determine if your home or future home may have any hidden radon issues. 

Trained as a Level 1 Thermographer and using the latest thermal imaging camera from Flir. This enables us to see things that other home inspectors may miss if they don't have this high level of training and equipment.

Trained as a Structural Pest Inspector under strict EPA guidelines, Terry is able to use this knowledge to help identify potential problems. 

Terry & Kate are members of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) 

As well as continuing to pursue other training outside of that required to keep current on my license, Terry believes that learning is truly lifelong and has committed to continue his education on issues that will affect buildings and construction methods.
